Wednesday "Dinner with the Pastor"
Join Pastor Larry on Wednesday nights for dinner at 6:00 and a new, ongoing course called “Liquid.” Session Four, is a 5-week study, entitled “Live at Five”
Being on live TV can be a frantic, stressful time. It can bring out the best in people, and it can bring out the worst. Some rise to the occasion and some melt under the lights. That's what the book of James is all about. Looking into the heart of people, what they say, how they act. Told from the perspective of a firsthand reporter - James, the half brother of Jesus - we get a great perspective on some of life's most important issues. The book of James is about how to live life, and how to live it practically. It's exciting, a lot like watching live TV.
This final session of “Liquid” is the story of Natalie Neff and her struggles to discover purpose and direction in her life. Just out of college, she’s faced with daunting challenged both personally and professionally. Based on the book of James, Live and Five portrays the practical advice of James in a light-hearted, culturally relevant way.
Please sign-up at the front of the church if you plan to attend.
$25 Registration Fee per family ~ $10 Fee for singles
Covers all meals and materials for the five-week session.
Child care is provided for infants - Middle School age children

New Discipleship Group For Men
"Self-Confrontation"
Tuesdays at 7:00pm
This class will teach you how to examine yourself biblically so you can live in a manner that pleases the Lord and help others do the same. It doesn’t matter whether you are a new brother in Christ or whether you’re a long-time Christian, proficient in the use of Scripture. This course will encourage you to rely on the Word of God to discover His sufficiency for every aspect of our life. The first two weeks of the course is an in-depth teaching on Salvation, specifically ‘Good Person-Bad Person?’ and “what does born again really mean?” You will be able to present salvation biblically and confidently after completing this part of the study.
Cost for the course is $33 which covers the cost of the manual and workbook. We know times are tough, so let us know if you want to take this course, but are unable to pay the fee and we will sponsor you.
“I AM” Impressions Art Ministry Art Exhibit -
April 15 to May 15
New Smyrna Beach Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway
How amazing our God is! He really is in control. Over the past few months, the “I AM” ministry artists have been working on illustrating Psalm 23. Little did we know that this Psalm would be the focus of Pastor Larry’s sermons this month.
This unique exhibit also expresses the artists’ creativity in a very special way in that many of the artists have chosen scripture verses that relate to the artwork they have created. It also draws attention to the importance of arts education and creative expression for students of all ages.

How to Drug Proof Your Kids!
The lure of tobacco, alcohol and illicit drugs on children is dangerously strong in our culture today and its impact is often deadly. But the majority of parents with children who have used illicit drugs believed their kids were not at risk.
A new course, How to Drug Proof Your Kids, is designed to help parents grasp the reality of drug use, and take preventive action to avoid the devastating results. In this 6-week Focus on the Family study, parents will begin to:
-
Understand drug use
-
Develop strategies to help your children make informed choices about drug use
-
Identify local groups and resources that can help shape their beliefs and behaviors about drugs
-
Gain insight from other parents as you share ideas, strategies and stories from personal experiences.
Donna Beinert will facilitate the class. Weekly meeting will be on Wednesdays at 6:30pm beginning February 13th. Child care will be provided.
